Meet Burton
Burton is the CEO and founder of Hercules Health Solutions. He is natural born leader with a desire to help protect others. That passion came from his years as a first responder. Burton spent over 20 years serving his communities as a Paramedic, with time in Las Vegas, Nevada, Austin and Dallas, Texas, as well as the mountainous region of Montana, South Dakota, and Wyoming. Burton fulfilled his career goal as a Special Operations Medic, specializing in swiftwater rescue, high-angle rescue, and tactical EMS before pursuing a role as a Flight Paramedic, which he enjoyed for over 10 years. While flying, he began teaching and found a new love for education, He found it so rewarding to spread knowledge and expertise. In fact, that led him to being a Regional Clinical Educator for the largest air-medical companies in the U.S.​​
After 20 years in emergency medicine came to an abrupt halt as it did for so many 2020. Burton was forced into a career change that led to an opportunity of a lifetime. Burton found himself unemployed, searching for a job and health insurance for his family. "I learned, first-hand how flawed and challenging our country is when it comes to finding coverage." "I became overwhelmed and frustrated with the entire process." That frustration let him to opening an insurance agency, Hercules Health Solutions in July of 2021.​​

Where did “Hercules” come from?

Funny enough, the name “Hercules” came from my daughter, who was working on a school project and assigned to lead the group. When asked to name their group based on a Disney character matching the first letter of her last name. She settled on Hercules! The name was catchy. A powerful name from the roman mythological character known for being a champion of the weak and a great protector. This made sense for an insurance agency focused on exactly that, great protection.
